Since
this story first appeared online, I have had more than a few
people email me to ask me what's up with it.
Love
Hurts is a collaboration with my friend Mr. E,
last seen in a cameo appearance in April's short My
Black Irish Love, and the man behind Cartoonin.com.
This tale is a monster romp with some teeth, written and penciled
by E with finishes by myself. My wiseass partner in crime
thought it funny to use my name and my wife’s name for
the two characters in Love Hurts, and I left it as he wrote
it … despite the nasty ending. Punk.
So
fret not, gentle readers - all is well in castle DeAngelis.
This story is not an indication that my relationship with
my beautiful wife is anything but perfect.
