I live in north-east New Jersey. On Tuesday, Septembet 11th you could see the smoke from the World Trade Center in the sky from my house. My grandfather was a New York City cop, and my uncle a NYC Fireman. I have a number of lifelong friends who are police and were on the scene Tuesday and in the rescue efforts following the tragedy. The above comic page was my effort to pay homage to the very real heroes who showed all of us the amazing strength of the human spirit in this incredibly tragic time.
